Every three months, Apple reports on the number of iProducts it’s sold in that quarter and of course how many billions and billions of dollars those products have generated.
Normally straight afterwards, they’ll host a conference call with members of the press and analysts, which is normally full of indecipherable numbers and figures, and is therefore dull as ditchwater.
Not so on this occasion, for during last night’s earnings call Apple CFO Peter Offenheimer dropped the biggest hint yet that an iPhone 5 will launch around September this year.
“As we announced at WWDC, we have a lot going on in the fall with the introduction of iOS 5 and iCloud.
