There is nothing more that most of us enjoy more than video gaming. Through our Xbox 360′s, Playstation 3′s and PC’s we become legends. We become heroes. But up until now, there’s always been one thing that is stopping us (no not that fact we’d have to get off the couch)… the weapons.
This however is all about to change, as our favourite weapons in video game history, become a reality.
The Lancer – Gears of War
I can remember the first time I used the Lancer’s chainsaw in the very first Gears of War on the Xbox 360… seeing the blood, the gore, the guts of the Locust spallting all over the screen. It’s easily one of my favourite “gore moments” in video game history. Now I’m not saying you should get this and go cut open your best friends gut for fun… but… well, maybe you should?
Portal Gun – Portal
A superb replica of one of video games most iconic “weapons”, the portal gun from Valve’s amazing puzzle/FPS game Portal has reach legendary status. My only gripe with this replica, is that it doesn’t actually bend time and space…
Plasma Cutter – Dead Space
Thousands of Necromorphs have had limbs shot off by Isaac Clark’s Plasma Cutter. Now, you can be prepared if you ever take a trip to the USG Ishimura or any other Necromorph infested areas.
Grey Wardens Redner – Dragon Age: Origins
Fantasy players rejoice! Now you too can be one of the Grey Wardens. I can see it now, “Grey Warden Romance, Opener of the Mail!” With your trusty Grey Warden’s letter opener, all mail and some packages will tremble at your doorstep.
Frostmourne Sword – World of Warcraft
Frostmourne is the phatest of phat loot. This sword has an ice mount, it’s made to scale, and made of real metal. Oh yeah, on top of that, it glows. Beware though, it could corrupt your soul.
Buster Sword – Final Fantasy VII
The infamous Buster Sword that Cloud uses in Final Fantasy VII, this beast is a full size replica of the Buster Sword.
Warthog – Halo
Saving the best till last a fully functional, working Warthog from Halo.
