Square Enix will release Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for iPhone this Thursday (4th August) and has said that an iPad version will follow this autumn, at least one month behind due to the conversion to HD visuals.
Originally announced last June, the iOS title is a version of the PSP re-release Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. If you haven’t played it or any of the GBA originals, it’s great – similar in many ways to the awesome grid-based strategy war game Advance Wars.

when does this come out on ipad? i know as soon as i buy the iphone version for 16 bucks on my ipad SE will release a final fantasy tactics HD version the next day for ipad
