An interesting insight has appeared in this months edition of Game Developer’s Magazine. It features a postmortem of the profanity-riddled shooter Bulletstorm, which demonstrates a certain level of “lost-in translation” syndrome with regards to the obsessive amount of swearing in the game. It seems developers People Can Fly were slightly too enthusiastic when doing the English language writing and voice overs for the game.
