Apple have confirmed that the iPad 2 will still launch in the UK on Friday 25th March as planned.
It was originally speculated that the iPad 2 release may suffer delays because of the recent Japanese tragedies, however Apple confirmed today that the iPad 2 is still on for 25th March release in the UK.
The UK launch of the original iPad was pushed back by a month in order to help satisfy demand in the US, and there had also been fears that the situation would repeat itself with iPad 2.
Apple recently told TechRadar: “Everything that is on the website still holds true; the website says 25 March and that’s when it’ll be.”
