Among Gabe Newell’s series of keynotes he made today at the Games For Change Festival held in New York City, he was questioned on Valve’s interest in the Wii U. Newell told Joystiq that the Wii U “seems to be a lot more powerful than the previous generation”, and that “it sort of fits better into the scalability in terms of graphics performance and CPU performance”.

With Valve lending more of its power to console games, it looks like Nintendo could be next.
