Heavy Rain finally arrives on the PlayStation 3 this weekend and it looks absolutely superb, so here’s hoping it plays just as well.
We were graced with a teaser demo on the PlayStation Store last week, and I’ve got to say this is easily the most excited I’ve been about in a video game in an awfully long time.
Quantic Dream look to carry on right where Fahrenheit left off back in 2005, merging a slick movie-like experience with smooth gameplay and quick time events to create a phenomenally immersive experience.
You follow not one, but four characters paths as they chase down a serial killer and hut to save a kidnapped child; where each action in the game influences any number of outcomes in the storyline creating potentially one of the best “Interactive Movie” style games we’re likely to see in quite some time.
