Sony’s new flagship handheld, the PlayStation Vita, now has a powerful Quad Core CPU, an impressive 5 inch screen and visuals that rival it’s big brother the PS3 – but how does is compare to Nintendo’s own industry leading handheld, the Nintendo 3DS, which itself boasts Wii-era graphics, two screens and of course a 3D display.

Well you can find out for yourself and debate into the long hours about which ones plays, looks or feels better – but this little video is design to test one thing and one thing only – Battery life.

The video above has also thrown in a Sony PSP for good measure (but don’t pay too much attention to that as it’s got a modified battery, so it’s cheating).

So sit back and watch, as the PS Vita runs Uncharted, and the 3DS/PSP runs Monster HunterPortable 3rd for as long as absolutely possible, and in the interest of fairness, all consoles have all their bells and whistles turned up to the highest settings.
