Capcom has sparked controversy yet again by confirming that its Street Fighter X Tekken DLC character pack will cost a whopping £16.

The DLC will unlock 12 Vita-exclusive characters on the console version of the game.

Capcom already made itself unpopular with gamers this month by admitting that much of the data for these 12 ‘downloadable’ characters was already contained on the retail disc of console versions.

In a responding statement, Capcom said it included the data on the disc “to save hard drive space and to ensure for a smooth transition when the DLC is available, allowing players who choose not to purchase the content the ability to play against players that did.”

Don’t think you’ll be able to buy the characters individually either – they’ll only be offered as a complete bundle.
