Crawling out of development hell, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will finally be available March 6, 2012, according to Joystiq. Release dates have been floating around since Ubisoft delayed the game in November of last year to their fiscal 2012, a potential release window ranging from April 2011 to March 2012.

Future Soldier first appeared during E3 2010, giving us a glimpse of a game that could help to revitalize the series among the various Call of Duty’s of the world. Then it went dark, and reappeared at E3 earlier this year with a co-op gameplay demo and no firm release date. Rumors were thrown around that Ubisoft planned on dropping the game altogether, but promises kept getting made, and here we are.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 (with Kinect support), and Wii.

Update: The planned January 2012 beta seems to still be intact. Splinter Cell: Conviction owners should still get access. I’ve contact Ubisoft for a confirmation.
