Today we interview the developer behind the lead XBL Summer Uprising game, T.E.C 3001. For those of you that haven’t heard of it yet, T.E.C drops you into the role of a robot (Tesla Energy Collector, get it?) in a neon-futuristic world where energy is very limited and T.E.C has to jump, dash, and slide his way from one battery fix to the next. It’s a constant-running game in the same vein as Robot Unicorn or that Nyan Cat game except 3D and it’s not a forced meme. Hit the jump for the interview!
First off, why don’t you tell us the initial ideas and inspiration behind T.E.C 3001?
