Microsoft have announced today that its Xbox 360 slim consoles will be getting a new system-on-chip (SoC) processor.They had this to say on the matter -
” As well as reducing manufacturing costs of the console, the new chip will provide better power efficiency and reduce internal heat levels in the console. MS has also drastically reduced the size of both the motherboard and power supply units.
