There’s an old saying that goes, “What happens in Vegas, goes on the internet” and that has been proven true again today.
Nothing is safe this day and age as internet rumours are doing the rounds following a forum post that appears to be an invite from Bungie to Seattle-based steampunk fans to turn up at the studio in their snazzy outfits for a “steampunk game”.
“I need people to show up in steampunk finery to have photos taken for video game artwork for a steampunk game currently in development. Wear your own steampunk clothing or show up and we’ll put you in costume. Snacks and beverages will be provided and a good time will be had by all,” reads the post.
Any willing attendees were asked to visit Bungie Studios on June 3rd this year, meanwhile a Linkedin profile page of a supposed Bungie programmer has been spotted. With the would be worker, claiming to be “working on the upcoming Bungie MMO called Destiny”, though you (like us) better be taking that one with a bucket-full of salt.
