The first Ninja Gaiden 3 details have arrived, thanks to the latest edition of the US Official PlayStation Magazine US.
We don’t know too much yet, but we’ve been told to expect: the return of blood (and lots of it for that matter), a solid 60 frames per second framework, and a heavy focus on Ryu this year.
There’s more good news for fans of the series, as Team Ninja confirmed with OPM that they won’t be toning down the down the difficulty of the game for casual gamers.
It’s also been said that Ninja Gaiden 3 will have a much larger focus on Ryu’s backstory following his more human side as he descends into a hellish realm, and at this stage there is no other playable characters planned, as Team Ninja wish to build a much deeper story progression.
There’s also no weapon store in this NG3, as Ryu’s equipment will upgrade automatically as the game progresses.
Finally, there’s good news for fans of multiplayer gaming – as Team Ninja announced that will support up to eight players in co-op and versus modes, and they haven’t ruled out the support for PlayStation Move.
